Lehrinhalte:
The seminar provides an in-depth overview of global climate politics. After shortly reviewing the scientific evidence on climate change, we focus on moral, economic, and political dimensions of anthropogenic climate change. We discuss mitigation (market-based and non-market based) and adaptation options as well as the issue of climate engineering. Besides the official UNFCCC process we also analyze what role (sub-)national initiatives, NGOs and business representatives have in avoiding dangerous climate change.
