Offizielle Kursbeschreibung: This course will examine the biophysical conditions that give rise to?concern for the “sustainability” of human societies, explore?the political, economic, and cultural origins of global environmental problems, and address the social, technological, and public policy challenges involved in moving?existing societies in the direction of sustainability. Students will have the opportunity to select an environmental problem of interest to them, research its causes, and propose a set of actions to address it.
