Digitale Lehre: Wenn es die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen zulassen, wird die Lehrveranstaltung Work Organization in Intercultural Context im SoSe 2022 als Präsenzveranstaltung zu den angegebenen Zeiten in den angegebenen Räumlichkeiten stattfinden. Falls dies nicht möglich ist, wird sie als Digitale Lehre an den entsprechenden Tagen und Uhrzeiten stattfinden. Informationen über den Zugang werden dann hier im Bereich Kursmaterial zur Verfügung gestellt, sowie über die Systemnachricht an alle angemeldeten Studierenden verschickt.
Lehrinhalte: Arbeitsbezogene Kulturdimensionen nach Hofstede; Interkulturelle Kommunikation; Regionale Ausprägungen von Arbeitsgestaltung und -organisation: Kultureller Einfluss auf Aufgabenteilung, Arbeitskultur, Arbeitszufriedenheit, Motivation, Entgeltsysteme, Führung, Zusammenarbeit, Information und Kommunikation, Arbeitszeit, Work-Life-Balance, Geschlechterrollen, u.a.

Offizielle Kursbeschreibung: Work Organization in Intercultural Context is offered every semester. The course is held in English and enables students from different countries to learn from each other – about work design and ergonomics in different cultures. The course starts with lectures and exercises on several aspects of work organization and their characteristics in different cultures. In the following participants will work in small teams and edit a self-imposed topic. You will present the selected task and create an inter-active session concerning that topic. Each team will submit a handout (ca. 5-10 pages) about their issue and a short review (ca. 3-5 pages) on the session held. The course will give you the opportunity to get to know and work with people from all over the world. An interactive learning environment encourages students to exchange experiences and viewpoints, and gain an intercultural understanding.
