Official Course Description:
Each year, five students are offered the opportunity to participate in the international logistics case competition in the USA. This case study competition is focused on topics in the fields of supply chain management and logistics. Usually, preparations for the competition start in February including training in how to deal with case studies, presentation techniques and team working. In frequent sessions, the students independently develop methodological and professional skills. In order to prepare for the competition, the students have to solve multiple case studies. The timeframe to solve each case is 24 hours and is followed by an Englich presentation of the solution in front of a jury. The jury will verify the quality of the given solution by asking additional questions and will give detailed feedback concerning the presentation. The competition takes place in October/November in Fayetteville (AR) in the USA.
