- For the practical application of methods and instruments of the development of complex application systems that are provided by different lectures.
- To successfully process an extensive project under real restrictions.
- To train relevant key competencies (ability to work in a team, etc.).
- To integrate new technologies and gain valuable experiences in development and project processes.

Official Course Description:
The practical training on information systems is a project work with an interesting setting of tasks out of the IT consulting and development area and possibly also deals with relevant questions within actual researches. In average the team size is about 3-6 students. As examples for topics in those projects can be mentioned process construction, process optimization, value benefit analysis of application systems, conception or implementation. As recent project partners we can for instance refer to the Hessian Department of Justice, SAP, Software AG, Schenck Process, DEG or Deutsche Bahn. Very successful projects will get an opportunity to exhibit their results on CeBIT, as the case may be.
