Systems engineering concepts; process analysis; process synthesis; physical
property retrieval; safety and environmental engineering; mass and energy
balances; stationary and dynamic process simulation; energy optimization
of chemical plants; economic evaluation of processes.

Preconditions:
Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics (Thermische Verfahrenstechnik I) and
Equilibrium and Nonequilibrium Separation Processes (Thermische Verfahrenstechnik
