Course Contents:
Participants of this multi-module program will be trained to become a writing centre tutor. You will be exposed to writing research and pedagogy and broaden your knowledge of scientific/academic writing in a university context. There will also be the opportunity to practise your soft skills, e.g. presentation skills, for use during your dgreeand future career. Module 1 is concerned with the Theory of Writing, Module 2 with Writing in a Foreign Language. Module 3 is an introduction to Tutoring in Writing, including leading discussions, consultations and writing techniques. The final project will allow students to integrate their theoretical and practical knowledge of the writing process.
