Bruno Latour is one of the most important and most cited thinkers today. The seminar will consider central texts that allow us to track his transition from socilogy of science to philosopher and epistemologist. We will be dealing with his early works on ANT/actor-network-theory, constructivism, power and necessary passage points, technoscience and modernity, technology and morality, matters of concern, the politics of nature, and design. Where available, we wil be reading German translations.
