Theory of integral operators;
Nystöm method; collocation method; Galerkin approximation;
boundary element method; coupling finite element method and boundary element method; a posteriori error estimators

Preconditions:
basic knowledge of analysis and functional analysis, e.g., from mathematics
or mathematics for engineers;
introduction to numerics;
helpful but not madatory is knowledge about numerics of partial differential equations
