Course Contents:
Research-related project in the area of "Ubiquitous Computing".
The students will learn to conduct their own research given an individual research project.
The topics will be defined together with the adviser.
Possible areas:
- Interaction with novel devices
- P2P Networks
- Wireless Sensor Networks
- Mobile Sensing
- Middleware
- Network Science
- Voice Interfaces
Concrete tasks will be assigned on an individual basis. The project can be started at any time.
Preconditions:
Basic knowledge in area of Ubiquitous Computing is helpful, e.g., P2P, TK1, TK3, KN1, KN2, HCI.
Java, C# or similar is expected. Self-motivated and highly interested in actual research.
