Course Contents:
The goal of the seminar is to develop a holistic understanding of the areas of privacy and trust. The students work in interdisciplinary groups on current research in the areas of privacy and trust with a special focus on economic, psychological, and technical aspects.
At the beginning of the semester, the topics are proposed and there are introductory talks planned, highlighting the different disciplines' take on issues related to privacy and trust. The students will then be assigned to groups (depending on their topic). Each group of students submits a joint report and present their findings.

Preconditions:
Interest in interdisciplinary research and the willingness to work in interdisciplinary groups.

Additional Information:
Students of the departments "Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften" and "Humanwissenschaften" will further be required to conduct a small empirical study since these students will be credited 5 CP for this course, while students of the department "Informatik" will receive 3 CP.
