Course Contents:
Basics of Tensor Analysis, Basics of Special Relativity, Covariant Form of Maxwell`s Equations, Basics of Nonlinear Dynamics, Hamilton Formalism, Phase Space, Basics of Longitudinal Beam Dynamics, Liouville`s Theorem, Beam Equations, Particle Tracking, Accelerating Cavities and Systems, Longitudinal Beam Manipulations.

Preconditions:
Vector analysis, infinitesimal calculus, basics in differential equations, first contact with Maxwell’s equations.
