Applications löeading to differential algebraic equations, e.g., reaction kinetics, electrical circuits, multi body system.
Solvability for linear systems, Kronecker Normal form, differentiation index, perturbation index
Hessenberg-index-1 systems, well-posedness, construction and analysis of one- and multistep methods.
Selected problems with higher index, well-posedness, numerical methods, index reduction techniques.
Application of theoretical results for example problems.
