Course Contents:
Studying at university in Germany is different than studying in China!

This workshop will be held in Chinese (Mandarin) and deal with the following themes:


  • Differences between Chinese and German university degree programs
  • How degree programs are organized at TU Darmstadt
  • Practical tips and tricks: group work, seminar discussions, talking with your professor, dealing with administration
  • German versus Chinese cultural norms: dealing with authority, flexibility and styles of communication
