Course Contents:
Introduction to geodetic monitoring measurements (building monitoring)
System theoretical basics
General classification of deformation models: descriptive / causal models, parametric / non-parametric models
Classification of structural deformations
Fundamentals of non-parametric modelling of deformation processes: investigation of structural deformations in the time domain (e.g. weight functions, VOLTERRA, ARMA, KNN) / investigation of structural deformations in the frequency domain
Periodic 2D and 3D acquisition of a measurement object with 3D laser scanning:
- TLS deformation models,
- Point cloud comparisons (e.g. software supported by CloudCompare),
- Visualization of the deformation,
- Significance tests.
