Within the framework of Winfoline ("Wirtschaftsinformatik Online"), e-learning courses in the field of information systems are exchanged between the core partners (Universities of Göttingen, Kassel, Saarbrücken and the Department of Information Systems of the TU Darmstadt) and mutually integrated into the curricula of the respective universities. Thus, the department offers five courses at the Universities of Göttingen, Kassel, and Saarbrücken as part of their specialization.

3. IVDL - Informationsverarbeitung in Dienstleistungsbetrieben

Selected applications from the fields of credit institutions, insurance, tourism and media are covered. Examples are IT applications for investment consulting and securities trading as well as for processing payment transactions for banks, agency systems for the insurance industry, travel booking systems of airlines and online services of media companies.
