Course Contents:
In this project the students will design concepts and implement prototypes in the field of serious games (e.g. in education, health and sports).
The topics relate to current research questions in the field, partly in cooperation with partners from the games industry and/or Serious Games users, and are among others associated to the following areas:
- educational games, training & simulation, health games, exergames
- Authoring and Creation of (Multiplayer) Serious Games
- Game Mastering and Collaborative Gaming
- User Generated Content
- Procedural content generation, geodata, digital twin
- Exergames, Games for Health and Sensors
- Mobile Gaming, Location-based Gaming and Urban Health Games
- Evaluation and Measurement of Effects
Preconditions:
Programming skills (the language will depended on the topic and may be chosen at will for certain topics).
