Course Contents:
The tutorial deals with the complete workflow of 3D-printing and its associated manufacturing methods.
It is meant to learn how to classify 3D-printing in respect to other manufacturing methods and to identify suitable applications. The requirements are determined, the proper 3D-printing process is chosen, the part geometry is adapted according to the manufacturing method and the corresponding workflow is carried out. Typical printing errors are analyzed and affecting print parameters are modified. To do so, a small project with self-developed parts is undertaken and the selection of manufacturing methods is justified.
