The lecture topics on a weekly basis are following the flipped classroom concept. Materials and tasks are regularly distributed via moodle.
Weekly an online meeting takes place via Zoom (wednesdays, 11:40 a.m.-1:10 p.m.) based on participant queries. Further information is available in the Kick-Off Meeting (on April 14; Zoom online meeting) and via moodle.
The moodle course is updated once a week after the online meeting. Call up the documents for the new topic each Wedneday from moodle and schedule in your calendar until the following Tuesday.
Please Note:
It is forbidden to record, distribute or publish the online meeting and to distribute the PDF-files. All documents may only be used for study purposes. Passing on the access data for e.g. online meetings, exercises and lectures to unauthorized third parties is prohibited.

Official Course Description:
The course consists of a lecture and a practical training in the lab (3 hours). In the practical training, participants will learn how to transfer theoretical knowledge obtained in the lecture into experiments in the teaching laboratory of the Chair of Material Flow Management and Resource Economy. For participation in practical exercises, registration for the "Praktikum Chemie III im Lehrlabor des Institut IWAR" (13-K1-0024-pr) is necessary.
First, the students will make themselves familiar with basics about the systematic description and registration of chemical substances and substance groups. As a course assignment, students are supposed to collect information about environmental impacts on human, fauna and flora, metabolism and degradation as well as bioaccumulation of given chemicals. The findings are to be summarized in a report as well as in a presentation.
The quality assurance and classification of data regarding legal framework will be discussed using different case studies in the field of environmental analysis.
