Official Course Description:
On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Explain the functional principles of electromagnetic, electrodynamic, and piezoelectric actuators
and reasonably apply these.
2. Explain the general principles of human-machine-interfaces on the basis of examples.
3. Describe methods and requirements for the development of complex mechatronic systems.
4. Apply mechatronic system thinking for the purpose of system integration and optimization of
different examples
