Course Contents:
ight does not only make architecture visible, it influences form and material through its versatile properties. The interaction of light, material and architecture should be more than an unconscious coincidence.
How does the amount of light, its spectral composition / spatial distribution etc. influence the (architectural) space? How can we design space through these properties?
In this seminar you will learn how light - and its interaction with material - can be predicted and visualized in theoretical designs before arising and what the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods are. It is supposed to help you to understand light, to represent it realistically with your own methods and to make it understandable for outsiders.
