Lehrinhalte:
Groups of 1-2 students per project. Students work out a well defined fundamental or actual research- related  problem.  The  projects  will  be  actualized in  each  cycle  being  offered  and  introduced at the beginning. Each group will be supervised individually. The projects comprises modern antennas for multitudinous applications, electronically-steerable antennas, RFIDs, RF sensors, adaptive tunable components such as matching networks, filter, passive mixer and modulator for next-generation mobile terminals and sensor systems.

Literatur:
Publications will be hand out to them. Software and characterization tools as well as tools to realize RF devices are available.

Fundamentals of Microwave Engineering I and Antennas and Adaptive Beamforming

  • Study, design, investigate, build and characterize a µWave component
  • Individual projects (2 students/group, max. 8 students)
  • Working time: Thursday, 2pm -5pm or arranged with supervisor
  • Project presentation and report at the final meeting
