Lehrinhalte: The Lecture covers the physical and biological basics of radiation biophysics and introduces modern experimental techniques in radiation biology. Special emphasis is put on the research of the interaction of ions with biological systems. Further, all different steps necessary to perform heavy ion therapy will be covered in detail.
