Lehrinhalte: This course is designed to help you develop your English language skills. Each week we will discuss a topic of current interest related to the general field of science. The basis for discussion throughout the semester will be student presentations. Guidance in preparing job applications, business letters, and other important types of texts will also be provided. The oral presentation, a written version of this presentation, and participation in class activities will form the basis of the final grade.
Literatur: Material will be made available for a small fee
Voraussetzungen: A score of at least 65 on the placement test, a good working knowledge of general English, familiarity with some basic terminology in your specialist area, interest in exchanging ideas. Students who participated in part I will have priority.
