The course Work Organization in Intercultural Context will take place in SoSe 2020 as digital teaching. The event starts as planned on April 19th, 2021 and takes place on the dates specified in TUCaN. The room details in TUCaN represent the original presence planning and are currently to be ignored.
The technical access to digital teaching takes place via Zoom. The link will be sent to all registered students via the system message before the event, as well as stored in TUCaN in the file "Course access and information".
Official Course Description:
Work Organization in Intercultural Context is offered every semester. The course is held in English and enables students from different countries to learn from each other – about work design and ergonomics in different cultures.
The course starts with lectures and exercises on several aspects of work organization and their characteristics in different cultures. In the following participants will work in small teams and edit a self-imposed topic. You will present the selected task and create an inter-active session concerning that topic. Each team will submit a handout (ca. 5-10 pages) about their issue.
The course will give you the opportunity to get to know and work with people from all over the world. An interactive learning environment encourages students to exchange experiences and viewpoints, and gain an intercultural understanding.
