Course Contents:
The lecture "Printed Electronics" contains topics from the fields of materials science, chemistry, electro-technics and printing science. In general "Printed Electronics" stands for the mass production of functional, electronic devices, components and systems (e.g. transistors, aerials, batteries, ...) by means of conventional and digital printing processes respectively. The lecture imparts knowlegde of
- the special chemical properties of printable, functional materials,
- the characteristics and fields of application of conventional and digital printing processes,
- and the functional structures of electronic components and systems to be printed.
