Course Contents:
The objective of this tutorial is to convey a full understanding of the design complexity of modern flight decks. The problems from the field of General, Business and Commercial Aviation are analysed. Technical, ergonomic and operational requirements towards the flight deck are identified. The requirements are combined into a single flight deck design, which is visualized in a CAD tool. Based on the CAD model the design is evaluated regarding the compliance with all technical, operational and ergonomic requirements. The results are summarized in a report and presented.
Preconditions:
No prerequisites, interest in aviation and design of human-machine systems is recommended.
