Digital Teaching:
Based on the directions of TU Darmstadt the course "Structural Integrity and Fracture Mechanics" during the winter term 2020 will be given in digital mode. The course will start in week 45 on Monday Novenber 02, 2020. The digital teaching units will be found on the Moodle-platform just in time with the original planning of the lecture and each unit will be available at least for 14 days. Course Contents:
This course is devoted to the realization of sufficient structural integrity, to an appropriate strength assessment, to the identification and assessment of potential weaknesses in mechanical structures and to a fracture mechanical assessment.

Preconditions:
It is advantageous to have knowledge in the mechanics of elastic structures, but this is not a mandatory prerequisite.
