Course Contents:
In this course you will learn the basics of programming for corpus linguistics in the Python programming language (version Python 3.9.x). The course is offered as a block course during the orientation week to get everyone started and in regular sessions throughout the semester. Please log on to moodle well in advance of the first session for preparatory reading and exercises to check your level of knowledge. In the week before the block course, there will be moodle and Zoom opportunities to ask questions about the Python installation and preparatory exercises.
