This course is aimed at students who already have a good knowledge of Polish because Polish is their heritage language or because they have already acquired it at a good level. The primary goal of the course is to be able to communicate orally on topics in a university and professional context. As a blended learning course, oral expression, spelling and grammar skills will be improved by working on various topics and text types.
After an introduction to study-related text types in oral communication (presentation, speech, job interview, counseling interview etc.), the thematic focus will be on three areas: Education, Science and Technology, The Working World.
Credits will be awarded based on an assessed presentation on a self-selected topic. The topic of the presentation must be directly related to one of the topics worked on in class and to the student's own course of study.
