Course Contents: The research topic of “networks” is quite interdisciplinary, offering many interesting questions from the perspective of theoretical physics. In this seminar, different aspects of the statistical physics of networks are presented. A list of possible seminar topics is the following: 1. Introduction 2. Scale-free networks 3. Spectral graph theory 4. The map equation 5. Spreading of diseases 6. Multilayer networks 7. Structure of food webs 8. Stability of food webs 9. Power grids 10. Neuronal networks The seminar will be in English.
