  • Interaction of radiation with matter
  • Laser materials
  • Laser beams and resonators
  • Short laser pulses
  • Modern high-energy laser concepts and architectures and pulse & beam shaping
  • Limits to the laser amplification
  • Application of nonlinear optics to high-power lasers
  • Temporal measurements techniques
  • Applications: laser-plasma interactions, high-order harmonics generation (HHG), relativistic laser-plasma interactions
