Process automation, processes and components of process engineering, process engineering plants, what are processes?, control system and process control, fluidic equipment, pumps, sensors and measurement technology, actuators and positioners, regulating and controlling, historical development, methods, equipment and systems for process management, process control system, control systems programmable from memory, process and industrial controllers, control rooms, control strategies, controllers without auxiliary power, standards and permissions, (explosion protection, environment, noise, etc.), planning, construction and commissioning of the plants, communication in the field, conventional, digital (HART, fieldbuses), process measurement technology (sensors), pressure, flow, temperature, level, process analysis, actoric, positioners, types of valve design, fundamentals of fluidics, layout of fittings, flow characteristics (incompressible, compressible and multiphase media), resulting forces, questions and requirements specific to acoustics, drives, position regulator, design, control technology performance and requirements, attachments, interaction of the process control and the whole plant, PID control, other control concepts, safety circuit, , anti-surge valve, multiturn actuator for pumps
