Introduction to the linguistic organisation of the English language at the level of morphology.

Official Course Description:
This course gives an introduction to morphology, the study of the internal organisation of words in the language. In the course of the semester, we are going to be studying inflectional morphology as well as word-formation patterns in English in a synchronic and diachronic perspective. We are also going to compare English morphology to the morphological properties of other languages.
