Estonia and Estonian Culture is an introductory course that will let you dig deeper into this small Northern European country. Through discussion, research and hands-on exercises, the course will cover historic, social and cultural aspects of Estonia in an interactive way. Throughout the lessons, you will have an overview of Estonian history, digital society, and other culturally important arts, such as literature, film and music. The course will also look into the Estonian language, as it belongs to the Finnic branch of the Uralic language group and is one of the few official languages of the European Union that is not of an Indo-European origin.
