Create account

In order to apply to TU Darmstadt, to register as a doctoral candidate or to attend lectures as a guest student, you must first create a user account.

If you have never been enrolled at TU Darmstadt:

Please create an account first (click on "Create Account" on the left side). You will then receive your access data by e-mail in order to be able to apply online or to fill in the form to be a guest student.

If you are currently enrolled or employed at TU Darmstadt:

Please use your TU-ID to login.
If you have problems logging in:

• as a lecturer: contact your Office of Student Affairs
• as a student or other employee: e-mail tucan@tu-darmstadt.de, making sure to mention your TU-ID

You were already enrolled at the TU - possibly even for a short time - between the 2010 summer semester and today, or were a staff member or lecturer at the TU, but aren't anymore:

Please send an e-mail to tucan@tu-darmstadt.de. Indicate the purpose for which you need access to TUCaN. In addition, please provide us with information that we can use to find you in the system (former student ID number (Matrikelnummer), former TU-ID and your date of birth, place of birth and birth name, if necessary). The access data will be sent to you by e-mail within two working days.
